I have been a customer of Liang's for a very long time. Today I ordered two of my trusted dishes. I generally love the hot and sour soup, and the generals chicken is something I've eaten at Liangs many times. Today, the hot and sour soup wasn't particularly hot, nor was the last flavoring of vinegar making it sour. It was a sweet broth with the normal accompaniments. Not sweet in a good way. It tasted of white sugar. The generals chicken was incredibly sweet, something I've never tasted from this kitchen. It could have could have been called candied chicken. The typical peppers were in the dish but generally there is a touch of heat in the dish not there today.. This is the first time Liang's disappointed me. I hope someone in management occasionally checks on what they are doing in the kitchen and makes the staff quit ruining food with too much sugar. I won't give up on one bad meal, but I hope next time they return to their usual excellence Two hours after dinner my blood sugar wad 369 ml/dl. That is the highest it's been since I started watching it. I'm will never eat that again.

My relatives are in town and we decided to get a late dinner after a fun day at Top Golf. We decided to visit Liang's Bistro, a place we had eaten at before with good results. Now, it's around 8pm so I wasn't really that hungry but my 3 nephews are young, big and starving. So we ordered a lot of food. Fried rice, Lo Mein, Chicken Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, Steak with onions and mushrooms and Pork Dumplings. Multiple plates! The good thing was that there was only takeout container. The food was good especially the fried rice and Orange Shrimp (nice balance of spice and sweetness). I was a bit disappointed with the blandness of the chicken teriyaki. It just didn't have enough tangy. Know what I mean? The environment was clean and simple. Restrooms were clean. The waiter was friendly, personable and quick. He was very good at his job. All in all, a very good place to eat, at any time of the day. Come on down and try it out!

This is our go-to, sit in, Chinese restaurant. There is always plenty of parking, the tables are not jammed packed so there is plenty of elbow room and you do have some privacy, especially if you are in a booth. You will not have to wait long for service as they are prompt, friendly and helpful. The menu has a nice range of items to select from and reasonably priced. The food comes out at the right temperature, and presented well. More importantly, they are very consistent in that the food always tastes really good. Another item we like here at Liang's is the portions are generaly large and you can either share a plate or get your own and have plenty of leftover to take home for lunch or dinner the next day. The food always warms up well for the second round. Thank you Liang's for having a sit in establishment that serves up some great food!

My food was so good, and full of goodies. I had the house lo mein. It was so filling and I was so full afterwards. Our tea was delicious and our 3 meals came to $46.79...i gave a nice tip !!! Updated review. Been here a few more times since last review. Lighting is a little dark but I like it and everything is clean. Staff is courteous and never had an issue. It can look very busy from the parking but they usually always have space so we've hardly ever waited although we arrive around 5-6. Food has been very good. I have limited experience with their takeout. There are many things i like from the menu but I mostly settle on pineapple chicken which is one if my favorites. You can get it with brown or white rice. I like this place enough to drive out of my way to come here.

I really enjoyed this location ! The food came out extremely quick so that was nice. Everything we ordered was really good too. Almost like elevated Chinese cuisine. The portions were pretty large too so we had enough for left overs. We ordered the pork egg rolls that were super crispy and delicious. Sesame chicken and pork lomein. Would definitely go back.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Tampa Bay. I always preface this review by saying it is relative to other Chinese Restaurants in Tampa. Would it be top in Houston, San Fran, New York, etc.? Probably not, but you work with what you've got and in Tampa Bay we don't have great Chinese food. The place I was planning to go for lunch with my husband was closed, so in a panic I texted Chris W. and Brett N. for a suggestion, not actually thinking they monitor their phones close enough to respond quickly. Surprisingly, Chris W. responded immediately with Liang's. It used to be a fast food place that's been renovated so they have a drive through. If I lived closer, I would be using that drive through constantly. We ordered pan fried dumplings, Japanese fried rice and Sesame beef. Apparently Japanese fried rice has a butter sauce and Chinese fried rice has a soy sauce based sauce. Who knew? I decided to try the Japanese fried rice and it was delicious. I'm definitely open to trying the Chinese fried rice next time. We got it with shrimp, that was plump and tasty. The Sesame beef was also amazing. It definitely tastes best fresh, it felt a little more greasy at home when I heated it up. There was so much food, way too much for us to finish there so we took it home. The dumplings were also good and came with six so it will whet your appetite. Service was quick and the restaurant is clean. I like that you can look into the kitchen, they really have nothing to hide. If I'm in the area I will always stop by. My husband says this is his favorite Chinese restaurant in Tampa Bay now. The dishes are all basic Chinese food, but they do it well.

Very satisfied with our visit finding a real eat in Asian restaurant. Service was very good and they have nice menu choices. The food is served hot and fresh and you get very generous portions. Lively atmosphere and a nicely laid out interior and there's also an outside dining option.
